Are your forms safe to swim in?

Yes, all of our silicone breast forms are safe in water. This includes pools, lakes or salt water. The adhesive on adhesive backed forms may not adhere to the skin while in water; please double-check the product page for each product for additional information, if applicable.

How do you measure bra size?

Figure Out Band Size:
Using a measuring tape, measure underneath the bust to determine your band size. If the measurement is an even number, add four inches to calculate the band size. If the measurement is an odd number, add five inches to calculate the band size. That’s because bra sizes don’t come in odd numbers such as 35, so, for the sake of comfort, go up an inch instead of down an inch. For example, if you measure 29 inches, add five; your band size is 34.
Note: When measuring, try lifting the breast tissue up so the tape measure is snug on the rib cage. Also, be sure it is not laying across your shoulder blades. It needs to be around the small of the back, where your band should lay. For example, if your 40C bra is riding up, we recommend trying a 38D bra. Be sure and try plenty of styles until you get a good supported fit because all bras fit a a little differently for everyone.

Figure Out Cup Size
Not all C cups are the same size (or A, or B, etc.). A C cup for someone that has a 40 band size is much bigger than a C cup for someone with a 32 band size. The standard formula for figuring cup size is unreliable and only causes confusion. More often this leads to choosing the incorrect size. This is why TrueKare recommends actually trying on bras to determine which cup size is best for you.

Do you accept insurance cards or Medicare?

No, we are not a Medicare provider. We do not process insurance claims. This helps keep our prices as low as possible. Many customers do submit their own insurance claim.

Are there any fees for ordering from you?

We do not charge any additional fees beyond what you see on your order (shipping and/or tax, as applicable to your order).
Some credit card companies have, in the past, chosen to apply a ‘foreign transaction fee.’ This is because our company is registered in Canada, even though your order ships from within the United States.
Often times, you can call your credit card company to have this charge reversed, as they should not be charging it for orders shipping within the USA. Make sure that you have your tracking number ready to provide to them, so that they can see that the shipment came within the US.

How do I wash my breast forms?

Simply wash in a warm soapy water. Its best to use a mild soap. Then place the forms on a towel to air dry. You can wash all of our forms, including those with adhesive backs.

How long will the adhesive last?

On forms that have an adhesive back, the adhesive will last anywhere from 20 – 100 uses, although some breast forms have adhesive that is designed to last the life of the breast form. This depends on type of use and type of skin. You can always buy more adhesive or form tape to hold the product in place.

How do I store my breast forms with adhesive backs?

Retain the protective cover. After each use, replace the protective cover and store forms in their storage trays.
